Activities & Meetings
Camping: Troop 608 plans a yearly calendar with outings scheduled at least one weekend a month.

Troop Meetings: The Troop meets weekly on Mondays from 7:00pm to 8:30pm at the Cathedral of Sacred Heart 1212 East Moreno Street, Pensacola, Florida 32503 in the Parish Hall. Please see our calendar on this website for changes due to holidays. We welcome you to attend a meeting and meet our Scouts and Scouters.

Committee Meetings: The Troop Committee meets on the second Monday of the month from 7:05pm to 8:30pm at the Cathedral of Sacred Heart 1212 East Moreno Street, Pensacola, Florida 32503.

These forms can be either downloaded and filled out electronically or printed out and filled out by hand. If you are not able to print the forms please contact us and we will be happy to provide you with copies.
BSA and Diocese of Tallahassee-Pensacola Training is required for all adult volunteers. The troop will guide you as to how to complete the training.
The following paperwork should be completed and turned in to the troop:

1. BSA Adult Application Form
2. Troop 608 Policies & Procedures Membership Agreement Form
3. BSA Annual Health & Medical Form
(Pages A-C, only if camping, Good for 1 year)
4. A quality copy of the applicant's current health insurance card (front & back)
(only if camping)
5. BSA Additional Disclosure & Background Check Authorization
6. FDLE Waiver Agreement & Statement
7. Diocese of Tallahassee-Pensacola Driver Information Sheet

These forms MUST be on file for an adult to participate in outings with Troop 608.
Forms
BSA and Diocese of Tallahassee-Pensacola Training is required for all adult volunteers. The training can be completed once the BSA Adult Application has been process. The troop will provide you with a BSA Membership number and guide you as to how to complete the training.
The following training should be completed and certificates turned in to the troop:

1. BSA Youth Protection online training (Good for 2 years)
2. BSA Position related online training
3. Diocese of Tallahassee-Pensacola online training (Good for 5 years)
4. Diocese of Tallahassee-Pensacola Fingerprinting (Good for 5 years)

These forms MUST be on file for an adult to participate in outings with Troop 608.
Training
A member of the troop will provide you with the amount of appropriate fees due. Checks should be payable to “Troop 608 BSA.”
